With over 35 years of experience, Rick Flowers has been named a Texas Super Lawyer since 2012, published in Texas Monthly magazine. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1982 and was a member of the Law Review and the Order of the Lytae. He began his career as a briefing attorney for Chief Justice Frank G. Evans of the First Court of Appeals, a position that afforded him unique insight into the court system. He is a past member of the Texas Family Law Council and was selected by his peers for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite organization of nationally recognized trial lawyers.  He has been the Course Director and has spoken at many continuing legal education programs across the state.  He is rated AV Preeminent, the highest level of professional excellence by Martindale-Hubbell.

Anne Hamman has a diverse background.  After 5 years as an associate in litigation at Andrews Kurth LLP, she moved to Enron Corp. where she worked in the Corporate legal department practicing Human Resources law.  She began practicing family law in 2015 when she and Rick joined forces.  She is active in the community, participates on a number of charitable boards and is an active volunteer in organizations dedicated to health care and education. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and she graduated with honors from among the top of her class at the University of Texas School of Law.

Roland Mosher is a small-town Texas native with a passion for legal advocacy in all its forms.  He spent 7 years at the University of Texas, obtaining both his Bachelor’s degree and his J.D. Roland is conversant in Mandarin, and he spent a year living and teaching English in China. While in law school, he excelled in trial advocacy, and became a semifinalist in a National Mock Trial competition. He handles both family and criminal matters and has advocated for clients on matters ranging from murder to traffic tickets. Before moving to the Houston, he was an active board member of the Paris Community Theater, and a frequenter of the small stage.

The Flowers Law Firm handles all types of family law matters, including large estate and complex divorce litigation and negotiation, custody, paternity and parentage issues; drafting and negotiation of marital property agreements; informal or “common law” marriage; appeals; and interstate, international child abduction and other complex jurisdictional issues.  The firm also handles post-divorce matters including custody modifications and enforcement issues while continuing to handle select civil litigation and appellate matters for a diverse group of clients.

We are well versed in the law concerning child custody jurisdictional issues reaching across state lines and jurisdictions.

We have handled numerous international cases including those that have been referred to The Hague Convention courts, and cases and clients with connections to the UK, Italy, Norway, Mexico, Brazil, Romania, India, Canada, Canon Law and Sharia Law.

We are not a high volume practice, and are therefore able to provide personal, in depth attention to our clients (many of Texas’ most prestigious families).  Virtually all of our new clients are referred to us by other and/or former clients or lawyers.
